The Lincoln and Welland Regiment is a reserve infantry battalion of the Canadian Forces. The Land Reserve (or Militia) is made up of citizen soldiers who train part-time at local armouries throughout the year and full-time (as their civilian employment permits) at military bases across Canada during the summer.

The Regiment forms part of 31 Canadian Brigade Group within Land Force Central Area. Regimental Headquarters are located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Parade nights are Thursday from 1900 to 2200 hours.

quesiton for you guys who've maybe served long before i was born or eligable... the old cammo on the metal bucket(pre cadpat here), were there ever uniforms to match? (im not reffering to the garrison jacket, but is it the same as the jump smock?)

It was the US Woodland pattern.

MLI, nope, it was worn with the OD cbts. The first version, prior to the US BDU pattern was actually a reversable leaf pattern, green for summer, brown for fall/winter.

It was a pain in the ass to wear but you could shove an aide memoir and an IMP inside the liner straps. Surprisingly a couple of hours of ATC and your body heat would warm up the IMP enough to make it (almost) edible.
