does anyone remember a tv movie, or tv mini series about the Marines that was on a few years ago. i think it was on like abc or nbc or somehting. it was about USMC recruit training. i think it had mathew lillard as a rich snobby recruit that told his dad he hated it so his dad went to get him out of there, but by then he wanted to be there and graduate.....does anybody know what i am tlaking about?!?!?! i barely rmember it, but if you remember it and remember the name please tell me...

Hey, I think I remember that one, it was called "Semper fi".

The drill sergeant in that movie was no "Gunnery-Sergeant Hartman"...

Yes, hard to believe that they were thinking of making a whole series out of that bull****. I mainly watched it out of interest, but that thing really seemed to be too freakin' lame from the start.

The end was really too much, what with the marines starting to cry; "everyone cries during the graduation, blah blah..."

I hope no one took the series too seriously.

i want to see it again. because i really don't rmember anything from it when it was on, other than that rich kid that tried to get out of it, but then stayed.

no but i remember black sheep squadron, because i used to watch it on the history channel
