You can probably get one anyway. Your nationality shouldn't matter. You can join the army as a non-citizen.

If you are of arabic descent, you would be of interest to the military. I just called, and he asked for the following in this order:

-Zip Code
-First and Last Name
-Middle Initial
-Mailing Address
-Date of Birth
-Ethnicity
-US Citizen
-Social Security Number (Say you dont have it right now, he will ask for an email address)
-If you want it on CD (DVD?) or Tape
-If you will
a) Definatly Join
b) Possibly might join
c) Possibly not join
d) Definatly will not join <-- Dont say this
-If you are intersted in full time or reserve

If you speak arabic you will be of really great interest as all special forces are at least semi proficant ain at least 1 foriegn luanguge and usally more.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I can speak British, American, some Candian, Austrilian, New Yorkish, Georgian (slight accent) and New Zelaland.

I would think that arabic and farsi are one of the most desired languages by the special forces wouldn't ya think?

Just because you can speak them doesnt mean you can get into Special Operations Forces. More than likely you would end up in MI unless you really can make it physically and mentally.

you didn't get my point, I mean Special Forces are not really looking for guys who speak spanish, I said I would think that arabic and farsi are more desired languages to have...

Yeah, in my humble opinion I'd say that the US and Royal Marines have perfected the recruitment commercial. ;)

i like your humble opinion. i really still like the one on now with the marine climbing the cliff "the passage is intense but if you complete the journey...." there's also some other good ones on this little mini disc thing i got from my recruiter.
