As some of you know I just got a Ipod video...how do I put videos on it. I was reading on Apple that I have have Quicktime Pro or Imovie HD to be able to upload the videos. Does anyone know a free video converter that will convert videos for ipods?

To upload the videos, just put them in your iTunes library like you would with a music file. I don't know of any conversion programs though.

Yea, except you can only put Quicktime files on it, Limewire solves all problems. (Dont download the 123.6 kb files when your looking for something big, my bet is its a mutha****in virus). Or just pay 30$ like a law abiding citizen.

Hmmm, on itunes...you can right click on a video file and "convert selection for ipod". I did this but still cant add it on.

use the PSP video conversion program. although designed for the PSP I have used it for my IPOD.

BY the way a little off topic or off point but I have seen a Ipod Nano with video..

Go here (http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod/), it's a free video convertor (called Videora) to .MP4 which is the format you want your videos to be in, I use it and it's pretty good, the only thing is if you want videos from youtube on there or any .FLV you have to convert it to .AVI or .MPG or whatever before you put it through Videora because it doesn't support .FLV but it will support most other video formats.

I've always used 3GP Converter. Simple drag and drop interface. Multiple output format options. Totally free.

Still, my Video Ipod sees very little use with video - the battery life sucks.
