We had some trouble with Taliban hardliners being members of our local militia. I’m not sure if he’s in that particular pic but one of the guys on that OP was Taliban. We ID’d him and sent his ass to the slap factory at Bagram.


If you’re referring to the two guys standing with the caption “don’t hate us because we’re beautiful” that is an ID badge around his neck. Reason: Sorry, too much info!

The plug on his barrel is the foam that comes from between MK-19 rounds when they’re in the packing crate. We ran out of muzzle covers so we improvised.

Great pictures Shrek. I talked to some CIA guys and they said that they had experianced problems with the M998s on the thin mountain passes. Which is why they went to civilian pickup trucks, the thinner wheel base. Did you experiance similar problem with you HMMWVs?

That's exactly why. They just didn't fit and the cut-v's were pieces of ****e. Yes we actually had a few, we called them the man blenders. With the pickups we also had unlimited parts (they were everywhere) and fantstic gas mileage. We got three motor mounts fixe for $11.33 in 25 minutes by two teenagers. Think they had done that before? We tried like hell to tear ths thing up, they were tough bast..s.

As for some of the locals, no need to blacken their faces too?
If there's something in those rumours, that A-team organised units are held back in preference for D-boys or SEALS when it comes to elimination of "big fish", it doesn't make sense to me.
Those closest at hand shall go first, if "meal proves to big" D-boys can come after (dinner for all). If local forces can't manange clean kill, in the least they can fix, split or monitor progress of opponent with a close pursuit (or retreat) policy.

Sherk.. I like your pictures.. I would like to get off topic.. What do you think of this thing in Fallujah with all the dead being desacrated?

Pay attention to the videos of the violence. Note the ages of those that are performing these atrocities, most of them are young, some very young, now look at our riots in LA and elsewhere, most of those involved? Young again! I think a lot of what happens is caused by young, zelot, misinformed youth that have so much passion and nowhere to express it.

On the other hand: I would like to review the tapes over the next couple of days, build a solid portfolio of suspects, take about 500 marines and seal the f...ing place off, then take a team in and systematically eliminate all those involved. Sorry, it's the pissed off soldier in me.

Truly it is just another clear sign that there is still a group of people, albeit a minority, that do not follow the very teachings of the faith under which they live and hide. Find in the Koran where the mutilation of your enemies is promoted. There are actually lines in the Koran that say that out of respect, a man should not look at his opponent while he attempts to kill him.


To those that died, I bid you farewell, I pray that you rest in peace, that your death was swift and painless and I that you were no one that I knew, a lot of ex SF guys worked for Blackwater!
