Does anybody have Halo on their PC? I'm trying to get it off Kazaa, but it's taking for ever. I think I started the transer two weeks ago, and it's just now reaching 201903KB. It's really sloooooooooooooow.

I'm trying to get it for PC because:

A) I'm tired of lugging my X-box up and down four flights of stairs to get to a TV.

B) I hate when I'm away from my computer.

C) I don't have the money for a store-bought copy of the game.

49.99 USD = 26.93 GBP. Hmmm... Priced quite high over there, and there's me thinking I've live in rip-off Britain. Far-Cry, which has only recently been released, is only £24 here, and Halo for the PC has been out yonks... Athena Sword, released last week I think, only cost me 12 quid.

n00b, try DC++ and some of the Nordic hubs, there you can find everything.

Try DC++, you will not regret it, the only "problem" is that you have to share
something. Create a folder where you put all your movies and stuff and share
40+ gig, and have that as your shared folder. Then you get in to decent hubs,
don´t even bother with the British hubs and stuff, only lives n00bs there, the
Nordic hubs has everything and usually most people here have T1/T3-connection.

Halo PC is ok. It's fun enough, though it does take a fair amount of horsepower to run 1280x1024 with full options on.

Also, I haven't seen a hack to run without the CD yet (though I haven't looked in a while). Playing online is the cat's a$$ - too many idiotic kids - way worst than CS & I didn't even think that was possible.

Y'know the demo is free & your soul won't face eternal damnation...

Any P2P program is crap for stuff less than half a year old, so you're the n00b. Besides, DC is crap.
