Wonder if you can help? A good friend of mine is currently developing a Night Vision scope for Game Keeping and Search and Rescue ( non military ) purposes. He requires as a accessory to the package, a Rifle Stock Pouch. This will be used to house a battery, probably about the same dimensions as a pocket size dictionary. Can you reccommend such a pouch , low cost being one of the main factors. If he can find a good deal, he will be looking to make a first purchase of about 1000 items. Please be advised that he is UK based and will require shipping to that location.
I would really appreciate some help on this one guys.
Thanks very much..

Buy a shed load of cordura and velcro.
mess around with that as much as you need then pay a visit to your local cobblers or Saddlery and they should be able to do you a production run in exchange for beer tokens?

Would the battery fit into a pouch the size of a M16 magazine? If so, you would be able to order a bunch of pre-existing mag butt pouches. If not, you may have to find a place that will custom make them for you, cause I haven't seen anything of varying sizes like that.

What are the exact dimensions we're talking about?

Without knowing the dimensions all I can recommend is something along these lines.

Perhaps something like this shotgun shell carrier from Eagle. Plenty of room inside and secure.
