Surgery to save good threads?

It seems that we have gotten things cleaned up a bit in here, despite repeated attempts by some to return. I wonder if the Mods would now be open to doing some surgery to recover locked but once intelligent threads? In particular, I am interested in one thread on recent events in Iraq. It was one of the few on this topic that did not spew the same hatred (though less graphic) toward Iraqis as our Balkan friends were throwing at each other. Unfortunately it was polluted by the Balkan hate.

I recommend that we revive Iraqis Drag Four Corpses Through Streets (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11339&start=64&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=). The thread would need page 6 (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11339&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=80) and this post (http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=206753#206753) removed to bring it back on track.

starting a new fake profile and stirring up trouble, there's no way to pre-empt it, and by the time mods see it there's loads of replies (delete them too?) and even if hood kept deleting his posts or mods kept locking topics, people would complain.

It's just that the MODs don't have a 3-minute-response time, and there's too much crap for them to take it all down in a second... Anyway, maybe offer some of the mods some 'oral service' and they might do it. ;)

There are several topics discussing the same event,is it really neccesary to re-open it?
What will it achieve over an above the other topics?

For those that remember I attempted the surgery technique - it is IMPOSSIBLE unless you all decide to start paying my salary. It takes hours to clean them up - and people just turn around and post again.

ZERO TOLERANCE is the only option at this point.
