That's good there are more troops on the ground, and I don't mean the ones hiding in KAF! Southern Afghanistan is a big AO and very crucial if NATO want's to succeed. Why don't the French and Italian's committ the resources on this mission and let the Israeli's kick the crap out of leb's. Sorry, but that's my opinion! It seem's like Canada, Britain, Netherlands and the U.S, and now Denmark are the only one's really committing in Southern Afghanistan.
You Can can committ token forces (like alot, I mean alot, of countries are doing) just so they can have on paper that they're there. Hopefully the Aussie's and German's increase they're presence in the south. Oh yeah I forgot the Romanian's.

In case you didn't know, Danish forces have been in Afghanistan since January 2002 ;-).

Dont sweat it. Danes havent ben present in southern afghanistan since 2002 with regular forces. They just got there a couple of months ago :-)

Yes I know they've been there since 02. If it sound's like I was implying that they weren't, my bad. However countries who are participating in ISAF have to commit more conventional forces and in number's. Not just SF! It seem's like alot of countries want to now jump on the ISAF band wagon thinking they're not going to have to fight and that the new mission is going to change that! Hopefully Denmark, Germany, Sweden and other key EU Nation's set that mark.

Dane's a in Camp Bastian and Fort Musa Qala, in Musa Qala a 100 Dane's
reportedly killed 70 taliban fighters in 4 weeks, the danes took 8 wounded.:fork:

What is that huge vehicle in the first picture?
And another qeustion in the picute with the .50 cal on tripot, on the right there is a ammodrum with round stick(Tube) like object init, what are thoes, looks like vehicle smoke pods?

The vehicle is a Piranha IIIC (ambulance version)

The round tubes do indeed look like vehicle smoke pods, but im thinking it's probably flares.

Great pics Lebowski. I live in Canada but my grand-parents were born in Denmark so I have a big interest in the Danes.

BTW, are they using C7/C8's?

yeah they use the C7/C8's with ELCAN optics like the Canadian and Dutch.
