Hi all, I've been doing research on the 'black kit' of the Dutch BBE for almost 3 months. I've confirmed the brands & model of some of their gear, Just wonder if anyone have other information for sharing/ discussion.
Here's my findings:
Helmet - British NP Aerospace AC100 helmet
Comms - mostly Davies Industrial Communications' (now Selex Communications) CT 400 series PTT and ear defender
Boots - some wear Adidas GSG9
Thanks.
I think they have replaced that helmet with an mich type.

The information may be a bit outdated, because the webmaster seems to have been unactive for the last couple of years.

Bit of a vague question, the BBE (or UIM as they're called now) doesn't use one standard 'black outfit'.

That's not really a question, is it?p-)
Dude, seriously... be a little more specific as to what you are asking.
And the reason why you want to know. People here will be able to provide you with better anwsers. Maybe make a list? And don't be surprised if some questions are left unanwsered.
I know of at least one guy who's wearing Bates Falcon's if it helps you.
Good luck,
S.

OK, I'm particulary interested in the make & model of their coveralls, vest, armour and other load bearing kits.
I'm a militaria collector and airsofter and is interested in collecting their gear for impression /airsoft games.
Thanks and hope u guys have more to share.

Going to be very hard to find out, I doubt it most BBE'ers know that kind of stuff themself.
