Would someone know the official designation of the carbine version(s) of the Chinese QBZ95 assault rifle?

Sources on the web can't agree, offerings including "QBZ95B", "CAR95", "ACR95", and "QBJ95". "CAR95" (also listed in William/Popenker ASSAULT RIFLE) is almost certainly an Anglocised name (from Compact Assault Rifle or some such, perhaps even nicked from the CAR-15), and "ARC95" appears to be originally a typo for "CAR95" . . . "QBJ95" makes the most sense, as it actually follows the Chinese military designation pattern (95 Shi Jincouxing Buqiang or "compact assault rifle type 95"), but I haven't been able to confirm that either.

Also, I have seen TWO patterns of carbines, which seem to have different barrel lengths (short and very short) . . .

Would anyone know more about this?

Cheers

Er. No. I am specifically looking for the designation for the carbine version of the rifle. I know the designation of the rifle -- QBZ95, as stated in the header of my first thread ;)
(And I know what it means, "95 Shi Zidong Buqiang" = "Automatic Rifle Type 95").

Cheers
