Anyone ever heard of the Model UN?

I guess this would be a question more for college students, but I am curious if anyone has been envolved in the Model United Nations Conference. I know that there will be the conference starting tommorow in New York, and it is suppose to be pretty big. If anyone has any info or has personally participated in it, please PM me.

This question seems more suited to High school students I think. I remember something about that way back.

I was involved in Model UN when I was in high school, but that was a few years ago. I didn't go to the national one. We had model UN at the state level, and our school couldn't afford to send us to the nationals. It was still a good time and a great learning experience.

The one in NY this week will be made up of college students from in and out of the US...might be interesting

It's high school...well maybe its both but I know there is a high school one.
