A couple of months ago I made a "Swedish army instructional cartoons"-post,
here is the Finnish version. All pictures are from a handbook for soldiers, which
can be downloaded on mil.fi so I assume that it´s not any secrets here. Not
as fancy as the Swedish ones, but I guess they work.

Example of how it can be done, with flares, handgrenades, extra ammo etc
easily available. The mine is a anti-personell mine (no, Finland has not signed
the Ottawa treaty).

Four basic demands of a firing position. 1.) Good to shoot from (you can
see something). 2.) Good to shoot from (more practically, with the weapon)
3.) Protection 4) Cover too and from the firing position.

A ordinary squad, with a squadleader and three pairs. One pair with a LMG,
the second one with 4 LAW´s and the third with a reserve squad leader

Middle pic, how to carry the weapon and ski if contact with the enemy is expected

Assault with squad, well nr 6 is the safety range to the own artillery barrage,
number 7 is the safety range to the own mortar grenades, at number 10 the
enemy have had its butts kicked.

... and again

A helicopter 300 meters away passing you, aim 50 meters ahead of it

The squadleader gives commands using objects in the enviroment as reference,
"left farm 100 (meters), middle hill 300, left house 150"

"Four fingers left of the building..."

After the squadleader gives the orders it should take no more than 4 hours
in the summer and 6 hours in the winter for two soldiers (fire pairs or what
ever that is called in english) to dig a basic foxhole, (number 4), and no more than
12 hours to further strengthen and fortify it

At right, the basic foxhole that should take no more than 4 hours to build
