In the picture with the soldier and sofer what rifle is the German soldier carring? Is that an Italian Caraco or GEW88?

I don't know about the rifle but the soldier is romanian.

And I'm still wondering why is a crime to be a driver (sofer). Maybe he was an escape driver in a robbery ?
