I don't know if this is a repost.

I know the marines have been using it since April 2005. Does anyone know if it has its first kills?

Specs :
Weapon : m243 (5.56mm, 750rounds/min)
Microphone
2 video cameras
speed : 5-6 km/h
1m high
50kg
Autonomy : 4 hours
Price: $ 230 000

It can shoot a quarter 300 m away and aim the target automaticly.

(The french army is also doing one, with wheels. Its name is REC, but I got no more information about it)

Well its great but its complicated, which means itll get broken!

just put a brick between the road wheels and its immobile.

they should just build a autopilot/remote control into a tank and they would have a powerful weapon :)
instead they have a slow bomb disposal robot with a MG... a great target for RPGs too...

When it's borken, you repair it, but when a soldier dies ...

and if you are a bad guy and you see a swords robots, you better not try to put a brick between its raodwheels.

Well see I figure getting a rock thrown at a soldier doesnt incapacitate it cnsequently you dont see soldiers shooting stonethrowers that often.

A stone would incapacitate the SWORD thus youd find yourself in a position where the use of certain pieces of equipemnt changes the ROE.

Shooting stone throwers and petrol bobmers isnt advantagous.

That thing is cool. The Army should make it bigger and have AI so it can take out the bad guys (T2 & T3).
