Bunch of Family photos.

Well after finding the old album and scanning all of the better photos i could find i asked my dad if i can share the family treasures with good falks at MP.net. He said "Go ahead". So enjoy.

Great picks KZ...i must say I’m jealous...one of my grandfathers served in North Africa and the other was a navigator on a Swordfish but I neva got to see pics.... thanks for sharing.

One of the weirdest pics of the bunch is the last one of the bunch with the grandfather and two other sailors. Because on the back side there is writen "Boston 1944". But i never heard stories of soviet ships/submarines visiting the states during the great patriotic war.

Also the pic where the dad is stading near the manual fire system of AK-725 was the time when he almost downed the plane that was towing the target that they we're supposed to shoot down during exersize because the TV fire control was broken.

All in all i am very proud of my family. Grandfather and grandmother serving in the RKKA during the great patriotic war and dad giving up 8 year of his life to military service.

Not to make a new thread i rather just ask here

I have a question for you guys My dad served among other things(Ranging from ASW's to wisky class submarines) on a Malakhit 1259 Project minesweepers and was interested to know if any one had photos of those ships as the only one we could find was a very low quality one.
