This is FSK a Norwegian SF unit. FSK is coperating with the elite units like Special Air Service, Delta Force, GSG-9 and DevGru. The coperation with SAS is very special, since it was the British whom originally trained and started this unit. Know SAS and FSK split their Counter terrorist obligation in the North Sea oil platforms.

Gotta love that Cobra helicopter in the background of the second picture. This photos was taken as a part of the build up training before participating in Op Enduring Freedom.

US Naval Special Warfare DEVelopement GRoUp (DEVGRU). It's the new, "lower profile" name for SEAL Team 6.

To my knowledge GSG-9 is internal affairs only since the creation of KSK. After the succesful Mogadishu mission they noticed a need for a strike force prepared to go into other nations at a moment's notice. The Cobra looks photoshopped, could be real, but looks a bit fake. Why is he using only a sawed off carry handle or at least a non-folding rear sight on the M4 (A1 model I am guessing)? Wouldn't a cowitnessing EoTech or Aimpoint to complement the iron sight be better for a member of such an elite group?

GSG-9 is a Ct unit just like FSK speciality is CT operations. Just because GSG-9 are "internal affairs only" doesn't mean they don't regurarly train with other foreign forces. As to the second picture, the weapon is not a M4 it's a C8 and the reason for not having EoTech or Aimpoint is in deep snow and harsh weather it's not always preferable. Or it could be just a personal choice of this individual operator.

yeh it is photoshopped, have a look around it, there's a ring, so it was taken from something poor quality

It has not been photoshoped! The picture is taken from Norwegian defense internett site. The Cobra is from USMC and the picture is from a joint training operation.

Sure the lower pic is FSK? Looks like some picture from the old recruitment-posters for the MJK. But hey, FSK recruit from MJK, so it could be any of them..

The lowest picture is of FSK, but it's not correct that FSK recruits from MJK, they are two equal and the only Special Forces of Norway. The only diffrence between them is their mission profiles. As for FSK it's more of "Black ops" and MJK focuses more on Green missions. :D
