I can't think how she could have won her appeal.

Knight stabbed Mr Price 37 times with a butcher's knife before skinning him and hanging his hide from a meat hook in their lounge room.
I heard Minardiau is into that.

She then cut off his head and boiled it in a pot and baked pieces of his buttocks to serve with vegetables and gravy to his adult children.
Yep. And that had NOTHING to do with the severity of your sentence you whacked out beeeeetch?
Durf!

well maybe the courts should hear the case and give her 150 years instead of 200 :)
i wonder how long she go any way.. or was it just jail till she dies?

What puzzles me about it is lack of motive... you'd think if the husband was a molester or wife beater then the kids (as adults) would have nothing to do with him.
Truly a mad woman. I feel sorry for her guards and fellow inmates.

I don't understand how the skinning or mutilation should affect sentence. The guy was dead after stabbing..it's merely physical damage to a dead person. A bit like the those doctors who make autopsies..can't remember what was the correct occupational title.

Reminds me of this guy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Gein
Rofl this guy has been true badass:
severed heads acting as bedposts in the bedroom;
skin used to make lampshades and upholster chair seats;
skullcaps made into soup bowls;
a human heart (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart) (it is disputed where the heart was found; the deputies' reports all claim that the heart was in a saucepan on the stove, with some crime scene photographers claiming it was in a paper bag);
a face mask made out of real facial skin found in a paper bag;
a necklace of human lips;
a waistcoat, called a "mammary vest," made up of a ****** (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/******) and breasts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breasts) stitched together;
and other items fashioned from the parts of human bodies, including a belt made from nipples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nipples).I should not laugh but that list definitely has some very black humor in it :|
