Any of you play lacrosse? I'm going to buy a new stick soon and I was wondering what would be a good snag. (Im coaching a girls High school team now)
They only let girls play here

In Canada we play mostly box lacrosse. WHich is the hard hitting version you see on tv, with all the fights.
Ive personally never played but always wanted to try.

I was going to pick it up in middle school but never really did...little too late to do so now. Used to watch my old HS (#1 in the nation, baby) play all the time though, as well as watch it on TV whenever it was on.

I played for four years in high school. The sticks are different for boys and girls lacrosse. I used a Brine titanium alloy stick and a STX X2 head. I think that you could take a boys stick and tighten the pocket so it could become a girls stick. I hope that this helps you out, al least somewhat.

Yeah, Im trying to find out if we have any non-school affiliated mens leagues around here. I borrowed my buddys stick, he plays Defense so he doesnt need his shorter stick. Coaching the girls is fun, but there are 90 of them on our team. 90 girls are annoying, doesnt matter how cute they are. Anytime they are being little smartasses i make them run laps.
I think this system should be encorporated into every job. Your subordinate is being a ****, make em run.

I played lacrosse in junior high school and then on the club team in college (University of Michigan). I still have my STX Laser Hi-Wall, which was basically my magic wand of scoring. I played water polo, swam and rowed in high school at a prep school in Massachusetts.
Not sure what sticks are out there these days, but my stick is in fantastic shape still.

@midtown:
how old are these girls?
i played lacross for a year, it was fun but there was only 1 other team that we played against, ,so halfway through the year it got really really rough, which is awsome but when you play against guy 4 years older than you and almost double the weight its a little scary. i broke my stick(aluminum) over a guys neck, i showed him whos boss :D
