If the American government had been oppressing its citizens for the past 25 years, and had used chemical weapons on California, then sure, it might just be comparable. If then the Russo-Franco-Germanic alliance came in to liberate us, and fought a war against the regime, rather than the country as a whole, then awesome, you would have a point. But that's a lot of imaginary variables you are adding in to try and make a point.

No I was in a situation where some people killed 3k civillians that were on their way to work one morning. When I got the country that harbored their leaders and in which many were trained, I can assure you I did not drag their bodies through the street nor did I intentionaly target civilians, nor did I target UN and NGO aid workers.

If France, Germany, and Russia decided to invade the United States, I would start to worry about my grandchildren facing them because thats how long it would take them to build a Navy capable of moving the men and material necesarry for that kind of invasion. hehe

No nation, no group of nations, could succesfully invade the US. Not even if all the nations of the world ganged up could they succeed. The US Navy is more powerful than all the navies of the rest of the world combined...........sorry. The US Air Force is more powerful than any other Air Force on this earth. The US Armed Forces are more capable than any other armed force on this earth.

Not even to mention the vast land mass of the United States. Kinda like Russia and China, it makes it a bitch and a half to conquer

One thing is clear: If America faced a land invasion, than the gloves would come off and you would see Americans fighting with no rules but to win..and that, ladies and gentlemen, would be something the world would shake in fear to. Very rarely in history have Americans been pushed to the point that they believed they were fighitng for a clear and direct purpose to protect thier very families and homes and way of life. When that has happened they have fought like devils and have crushed all opposition........

I dont really count the American Revolution as an example because that was before a true American identitly was formed and they were mostly just British colonists chaffing under the Crown......

I would count World War Two though. Americans by that time had a clear national identiy......... When asked "who are you" in 1942, over 99% in a poll said "Im American". They said this before thier race, gender, religion, ethnicity or anything else. Many people overlook just how important that is. No other LARGE nation on this earth has been as succesful at establishing a national identity. National identity is a very elusive goal that many nations seek to find and fail for a variety of reasons.........

For example, in many nations (even today) if you were to ask a person simply "What are you?" they would not answer with their nationality first but with another answer such as ethnicity......

I would count A-stan as another as most Americans know exactly what that was was for.............and we killed those bastards who attacked us by the tens of thousands......

I would not count Iraq as many Americans question Bush's motives..40% of troops in polls feel they lack clear purpose and dont believe in the mission....

Anyway, there is my answer. IF I had to choose one nation to conquer me I would want the Swiss. They are much kinder rulers than the Germans yet close enough that I could probably get a Rueben sandwhich at the local prison camp hehe
