damn...

There aren't dui/dwi laws already in place?

of course there are but the point the old woman was making is that they should be no drinking when you've had any alcohol whatsoever, as opposed to the current law that allows you a glass of wine before you're over the limit.

my god, that's right near my girlfriends house! And she works with the police! Imagine how scary it would be to see someone coming toward you on the motorway! :|

if she was going at 30mph before than 50mph is faster :P

anyway if she's travelling in the fast lane people will heading for her at 70+mph so she might aswell be going at 120+mph in a car park

I don't, but I like to think that I know a bit about driving and all that comes with it, et cetera.

Now, are there officially fast lanes now? As I've always thought that the left lane is generally for HGVs (Etc.) and for just 'driving', the centre lane for overtaking and just 'driving' when the left is full, with the right lane being for long overtakes... Or something like that. (I apologise for my crappy wording.)

:)

No there ain't! We don't have them in the UK... Well according to all the material I've read and watched. The stuff I posted above arn't the proper legal rules of motorway drving, but more like motorway etiquette.

:)

I record a bit of a video about it with my little digi' cam' if you want!

As the saying goes:
'Vrouwen aan het stuur, bloed aan de muur'.

Which means as much as 'Women at the wheel, blood on the walls'. :P
