Actually my good freind James is a Marine. I went to college after High scool and he signed up for the Marines and went oversees. Now he is on Iraq. Anyway, I went to his graduation ceremony and met one of his DI's. The man was about a foot shorter than me but let me tell you, I would rather meet Arnold in the ring than that man. My buddy told me that DI yelled the loudest and made them work harder than any of the others. He was also the meanest and the most feared. I believe him after meeting the man for a minute....Anyways, my buddy is now a Marine forward observer serving in Iraq. Havnt heard from him since he went out east (I think it was Okinawa) years back...hope he is alright.

Like this guy, he doesn´t look scary as hell necessarily as the USMC drill
sergeant, but he looks kind of "not a very funny instructor".

2nd Lieutenants, well what can be said about them, they are often assholes.
Fresh from officers academy and everything. But after a couple of years as a
officer they become nice people again.
Basketball superstar, David Robinson was 7' tall when he was in the Navy.
And as I remember, he was a Submariner as well.
One of the "gladiators" in the Swedish version of Gladiator is/was a submarine
officer in the Swedish navy. Read a article about that a couple of years ago,
he had to take a sportbag with extra food with him everytime, he needed all
the extra food, not very difficult to understand when looking at him:
