Billionaires rule US richest list
For the first time, the richest 400 tycoons in the US all have a personal wealth of at least $1bn (£526m), Forbes magazine has reported.

Microsoft boss Bill Gates kept top spot for a 13th consecutive year with investment guru-turned-philanthropist Warren Buffett in second place.
Casino and hotel owner Sheldon Adelson has leapt from 15th to third ranking.
The rich list as a whole is worth $1.25 trillion, compared with $1.13 trillion a year ago, Forbes said.
Four of the top 10 came from the Wal-Mart owning Walton family.

THE TOP FIVE
Bill Gates - $53bn
Warren Buffett - $46bn
Sheldon Adelson - $20.5bn
Larry Ellison - $19.6bn
Paul Allen - $16bn

'$1m an hour'
Mr Adelson's surge in fortune comes largely from a decision to open a casino in Macau, a pennisula off south-eastern China renowned for its gambling.
Forbes estimates that Mr Adelson has been earning about $1m an hour for the past two years.
Two of the other biggest earners were the founders of search engine Google.
Apple Computers chief executive Steve Jobs was 49th on the list, with $4.9bn. California is home to 90 of the 400 on the list, while another 44 live in New York.

It is harder for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven, than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

Wealth is good friends, BBQ every weekend, and cold beer. IMO

Me? I can't even buy myself a decent loadout let alone contribute to a housing program.

Actually, our goverment supposedly has one but a large chunk of that money goes "somewhere else" so what you get is substandard crap.

I'm gonna play the devils advocate and say that Gates and Buffet will give all their wealth to charity.
Also, as you can see "anyone can make it, you just have to go to school study and work hard"p-)

The US is not a communist country.

that was a quote from the bible reguarding a mans personal responsibility. those that have more are expected to do more.... thats why it was said; "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."
Matthew 19:23-24

it has nothing to do with being communist...if I was thinking along commie lines I would have said Strip the rich men and give it evenly to everyone else.

You should look up what Mr. Gates gives and how much good work his foundation does.
