Thanks!

VITAL INGREDIENTS: Beef, mustard, onions, mushrooms.

Anything else that I've got handy, I add.

Must admit, I never tried beetroot in a burger PT. I'll have to give that a go.

WHITE CASTLE YAY!, nothing for a drunk man like about 20 slidders at 330 am, at least thats what i was thinking last night... the best is the sliders with cheese and then get the little bbq packets and pour some on... pure horrible white castle goodness.

and o yea, do you know what gives the "slider" its unique taste? there's liver in the patty, mmm mmm good

Ground angus beef mix with garlic and cayenne. Marinate it in a soy/worchester sauce for about 15 minutes. Throw it on the grill, medium rare. Soft sesame seed bun and wash down with some ice cold Shiner.

Hands down all time bestest damn hamburger ever in my life...
50/50 mix of lean ground beef and ground venision. Two fat slices of peameal bacon, grilled. Monterey Jack cheese, Feta cheese sprinkled on top. Stuck in between a big portugese bun. I'm pretty sure this is what they feed fat people in heaven.

Close second was a gorgonzola cheese stuffed lean ground hamburger.

Pljeskavica

1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
3 ounces (½ cup) chopped onion
3 ounces of chopped garlic
1 tablespoon crushed hot paprika, or any hot red chile (or more to taste)

1 Egg
Salt to taste

In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients with your bare hands. Cover and let the prepared meat to "take a sleep" during the night in the fridge. Before grilling make a ball of meat in hands and plop it in hamburger-like form. Grill immediately over hot coals. Serve on a plate with pickled condiments.

Serve it with Ajvar and Kajmak.
Kaymak or Kajmak is a creamy dairy product, similar to clotted cream.
Ajvar is a relish made principally from red bell peppers, with eggplant, garlic and chile pepper.

But I'm recomending you "Leskovac Train" tha includes more than just a burger-(serbian hamburger-Pljeskavica; Serbian sauseges-Cevapi; pork chops, sausages........

http://www.nirvana.co.yu/galerija/mesa/dsc02368.jpg

You defenitly whant to try Cevapcici with onions and kajmak in Serbian tortilla called Lepinja-
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/bs/d/d4/Cevapi.jpg

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 lb ground lamb
1 lb ground veal
1 lb ground pork
1 large yellow onion, peeled and grated
3 cloves garlic -- peeled and crushed
3 tbsp hot paprika powder, or
sweet paprika and a little cayenne
2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper
Salt to taste
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Olive oil for basting

Mix all the ingredients, except the oil, thoroughly and roll the mixture into
little "cigars" about 1 inch by 3 inches. Rub lightly with olive oil and grill
or broil until done. These are great on the barbecue.
Serve with yoghurt sauce (recipe follows).

If you're in the Philippines, SE Asia, or in Eagle Rock California try Jolly Bees Aloha Burger. It has a pinapple slice and patty marinade with a bit of teriyaki sauce. The Lumpia's (Filipino Spring Rolls) are great. The Filipino spaghetti is unusual with bits of hot dogs and a trace of bannana sauce.
