It's easy for me to sit here and say nice pictures, but i kind of figure this is not what these people would like to hear. Kudos to them for doing this!

I am happy to see the Marines have much better gear this time! :D Because at when the war first started it was the most mismatched JUNK I had ever seen! people in the field deserve the best equipment!!!!!! AND it MUST match the color scheme of the camo, otherwise whats the point in having the camo pattern at all?

Always about the gear isn't it. What's the US bodycount (and Spanish, Salvadorean, Ukrainian too for that matter) the last two or three days? Don't even tell me, far too many. I reckon these guys are thinking much more about getting their job done and not failing each other than worrying about their pouches not being MARPAT.
Probably goes for combat operations too, what's more important? Looking good or having up-to-job kit? AFAIK, producing MARPAT NBC suits aren't that big a priority...

Foxhole...

Marines do not rely on the Air Force for close air support if they can avoid it- especially after that A-10 strafed them last year in Nasaherya (sp?). Marines have Marines for CAS- Ah-1W Cobras, AV-8B Harriers and F/A-18C Hornets.

SEMPER FI Marines!

"The American Marines have it [pride], and benefit from it. They are tough, cocky, sure of themselves and their buddies. They can fight and they know it. "- General Mark Clark, US Army

I’ve never heard that as a sign of endearment the only time I have ever seen this being used was on a T-shirt with not a very respectable picture on it.

Homo ouch that hurts

AC-130 only flies on moonless nights!

A-10s can provide support but hard to get their rockets into the alleyways and what not without upsettingt he american liberal....i mean without killing civilians...

Semper Gumbi Damnit (forever flexible baby)

the right kit is important. If it don't work, you don't work, if it don't match your uniform you stick out like a pop up target, so, to whoever it was that said it wasn't important.....ahh, never mind, you obviously haven't been there........

With all light level TV and FLIR, the AC-130U can
fly in both daylight and night condition and can still deliver
hell, 105mm, 40mm Bofors and 25mm.
