So I had some extra cash to burn, and I kinda bought something big ... impulsively < sorta >, now This is totally cool IMO, I wanted one of these when I was a kid, and never was able to get one for a few reasons

1. Its originally in the "Empire strikes back" toyline a few years befor I was born
2. the few that I did see were always too expensive, so my folkes would never get me one, I got plenty of other stuff though So im not complaining.

None the less I saw this today at Toys R Us and I kinda got over excited, and bought it, and let me tell you lol I dont regret it for sh*t! because this toy is totally bad ass.

StarWars Saga : Endor AT AT

Johnny_H02

Its massive, I would say its roughly just under two feet tall lol its really really sweet lol
The darth Vader and scout trooper are the regular sized 6inch figures you see on the store shelves, the thing is gigantic.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet

I wanted the whole SW set when I was little and was so excited about Christmas cause my parents were pretty good about getting what we wanted. I remember tearing off the paper and having a giant Barbie head staring back at me (you know the "learn to curl your hair and put on your make up Barbie heads).

UGH!

I have lots of "collectibles" stored somewhere, but my Bantha and my laserdisc SW trilogy (signed) is probably the nerdiest items i own.

I also felt very geeky when i had to take the bus home with a huge logitech box that had a racing wheel inside.

Awsome, I had a walker when I was a kid along with the Falcon and every thing else I could get my parents to buy. I still have some action figures and Luke's land speeder. I had alot of GI joes too but they all are gone with most meeting a demise by M80 firecracker or gasoline.:) Fun Times I tell ya, thanks for posting.

I had all the Hallmark Star Wars and Star Trek ornaments Mint in Box for a while. I always pictured myself painting a night sky on a ceiling in a little boys room and hanging them up there...... but I finally concluded I don't want kids and sold them.

The guy got a helluva deal. I wish I had put them on eBay in stead.

Part of me still wishes I had them. I just dig that stuff even for myself. *kicks rock*

I would have to say the Biohazard (The game, not the band) watches that I got from Ebay for about $45, that happen to be one of the top 5 rarest Biohazard item ever produced.

Too bad I got fscked in the parents department. I had them secured in a storage container about 2 miles from my house (Along with just about everything else I owned) and my mother decided she was going to stop paying the bill, and not tell us. When we did ask, it was "Yea it's paid. It's taken care of, don't worry" Suffice to say I have no parents now.

Picture of them.

Its a funny story though when i went to Toys R us, the store was packed. Anyways I see this dude with the box and im like omfg lol i didnt just spend a hour on the bus getting here to have some older douchbag take my geeky chance to re-live my childhood, anyways i ask him "Is there anymore" and hes like "There was just one there on the floor " and my heart just about broke lol so i was lookin around and i saw two more people with them so I said "F*ck it" I braved looking like a idiot and asked a floor employee lol they didnt know if they had more, I look up just out of frustration and there is two of them on the top of the shelf, so I got that bastard and paid too much for it, and here I am lol.

I know I wish I still had all the ones I had as a kid, I had all kinds of Return of the Jedi toys, Vehicles, Figures, Walkers, X-wings, you name it I had it.
Same with GI joes but being a child the stuff gets broken, beaten up, lost etc. but being able to get this now lol totally made my day.

I cant waite till i show my girl and she takes a stroke laughing, that I bought this monster.:)

I'm always tickled when I walk into a professional office and see little action figures here and there amongst the decor. To me that's a sign of a guy with a good heart because he remembers what it was like to be a kid and how the simplest things made him feel great.

I have an original Star Wars theater poster at my moms house. I kept in a poster tube in perfect shape thinking I'd hang it in my home when I got older.

A few years back I went back home only to find my brother found it, hung it on his walls with tape AND push-pins and had pen and pencil marks on it.

ARGH! heehee

There are two things that are bothering me about those pics.

1) Darth Vader and that Storm Trooper are wayy too big to be able to get into the front of that thing and operate it. I don't even think that the freakin Ewoks could get into the front of that thing.

2) That trooper is wearing a uniform made for those guys that ride those little scooter things that zip around the trees. He has no business being in the AT-AT (unless Darth Vader invited him there)

Well its pretty much like its 1980 counterpart, it is out of scale but it would be like five times as big if it were to scale, so its not practical, its the "Endor" ATAT there is one that picks up vader from the Shuttle landing platform, but you only see it briefly.

I was thinking of getting the little packs of Stormies, and rebels, the ones that are only small and come in packs of five, it might make it seem a lil more to scale I think.

The Scout trooper came with it, and the cockpit isnt really elaborate, again its just like the old toy, hence why i had to have it.

How did you get the Hammerhead figure to stand up? My figure was always top heavy because of his large head and would fall over when I tried to stand him up. Are you using "Blue Tack" on his feet?

Yea, that was a challenge. One of his legs is a little longer than the other to. Just luck while I took the picture I guess but he fell soon after this shot was taken.:) BTW everyone those are original 1979, 1980 figures and some of the Hotwheels are from the 70's, dam I feel old.

One hot tip for young fathers or aspiring fathers. DON'T get LEGOs! No kidding, buy one for a kid who is too young to fix it by himself (10) and you're asking for pain. Each of these will have multiple permutations and trust me, you'll be fixing each and everyone of them for the kid, not to mention picking up after him.
You've been warned...
