Well, I finally put together a new 1/6th guy after a little break, I took a bunch of pics but most of them came out blurry.... :(
Anyways, todays subjects are based off largely off inspiration from Shrek's fantastic photos. Thanks Shrek for some great photos!
Hey maybe shrek even know this guy! :D
Enjoy!

I am glad to see new images from your dolls , they are great as always.
one question , once you posted pictures with a marine with the new digital BDU , like the Marines are wearing in Haiti , what brand brought the new digital usmc bdu out ? For the digital DCU I know it is Dragon that has this Marine with the gas mask,,

Yeah It's custom m4, I glued the ACOG and the AN/PEQ-2 on it and then painted it. I really didnt do too much too it.
This guy? He is a custom fig, he didnt come packaged I built him from the ground up like all my other guys! :)

The MARPAT was made by BBI, but dragon also manufactured MARPAT for some time. I bought it at smallblueplanet.com

I really thought the first guy was reall and hadn't read that it was figure. i was going, "hmmm, I don't think I know this guy". What the f..k. Those are awesome. Anything that you're missing pic wise (details) you tell me and I will find it. I have over 3000 pics now. Added a few recently that I forgot I had on another disk. Let me know!!

those r some good figures! I'm working on a 1/6 scale SAS figure myself . I'm about to get some civillian gear as the SAS in afghan tends
to wear a lot of non dpm gear (sweaters and the like). I am using the colin SAS figure by dragon as a base i've replaced his web gear and rifle ( a silenced m16a2 for a M4 SOPMOD with supressor) and added a L96a1 sniper rifle with drag bag and a '95 pattern bergen.
i was wondering where is the best place online to get weapon sets and loose parts...so far i am using wartoys.com, opsgear.com, atlantictoys.com, goodstufftogo.net and they r pretty good but there are some things they don't have, in particular the US automatic weapons set (the one with the scoped para SAW ) that dragon produced, i've been looking for that forever!
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I pretty much order only from www.smallblueplanet.com ,but lately their service hasn't been top notch.
I can't wait to see your SAS guy, you gotta post pics!

GSTG had a discount about a week ago on DML's auto weapon set, but they sold out faster than it took my money order to get there. :( Anyway, no big deal. BBI's got a new Mk46 MOD 0 out, it's much more detailed. On a lighter note, has anyone seen pics of the new Hot Toys 160th SOAR (A) figure? One word: badass.

hot toys makes the best stuff....u should also check out toy soldier from japan....but u probably already know that! Have you seen hot toys pj? That thing is awesome!
u should try http://www.store.yahoo.com/opsgear/16scalacfig.html they have a lot of loose weapons from dragon and bbi; u can customize m4's there and they make custom patches for any unit in the US military, custom maps, almost anything for 1/6 scale figures
I used to use smallblueplanet.com but they take to long and charge too much!
