I'd say that the chassis looks pretty close to the ZSU-23 "Shilka"...
I'd say that the chassis looks pretty close to the ZSU-23 "Shilka"...It's the indigenous Polish design SUM Kalina chassis(Self Propelled Milelayer "Kalina") that was adopted for the radar platform.

not shilka for 80% :) something bigger:)

Nope its not ZSU-23. The Shilka is built on a modified PT-76 chassie
PT-76 seen here: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/land/row/pt-76.htm
edit: fdt gave us the answer. Thank you!

edit: fdt gave us the answer. Thank you!The same stuff was a base for the KRAB SPH chassis design... although KRAB chassis has T-72 wheels and differs in few other solutions... what is rather obvious considering the different load it carries...

I am not familiar with the equipment, so I spent yesterday looking as to what the chassis could be. I finally found the SUM-Kalin and was psyched to make a contribution to the thread, only to see that it was already done. :cantbeli: :P

I have a few question about this:
1. Is the upgraded unit already in use? (Sorry, I do not know the name. I read in AFM a while back that the Bryza plane was being modernized and that it had an upgraded radar.)
2. Does anyone have any pictures of the upgraded Bryza? The ones on the Mielek company site are small.
3. Do any of the Polish built helicopters have radars that were built in Poland? If so which ones?
