"Minister of armaments, said (1997) Russia will be able to make 350 unit a year by 2005. It should have come into service in 1999, but did not. There was first news when this appeared, that it's developed with south korea, but i think that was just rumor. No orders has appeared. We see after next big expos where BE will be shown.

eh.. we have our own Tanks(i.e. K1A1/K2) in development so I don't think that's the case here. Wouldn't have the money to stretch our serves that far. Besides russian hardware isn't exactly our strong point,, so it would definitely be a rumor :)
