probably because the f-16 is the best plane they have and those who get to fly it are the vets with the most flight time and skill.

Makes sense that the dudes are older. If I were the polish government, I wouldn't send some hot blooded and young 21 year olds over to take control of your newest most advanced multi million dollar piece of equipment.

How many F-16s is poland planning to acquire anyway?

Poland is going to get 48 F-16 Block 52+

Well that will be a big improvement for CAS after those Polish Sukhois we used to get here in Belgium during CAS exercises (allways good for a laugh though).
I suspect that their English will have improved too then, so much the better.

evrything is ok, great... nice pix and so on.... but one thing is humiliatinig. Why Polish pilots are not allowed to wear Polish ranks and insygnia??? . US friends try to keep political corectness to avoid Polish jokes by banning Polisg flags on shoulders?

Probably for ID on American bases. Often foreign personnel on US bases wear their national rank and American rank, so people know who they're talking to. I'd be willing to bet that somewhere on their uniform is their Polish rank - unless its a limitation of the US flight suits or something.
