Yeah, much respect, but I find it more touristic than anything else.

If you look in history, honour hase all ways been a use for the military to make the soldiers believing in what they are doing, giving them >sence<.

It's because what they are doing IS honorable. Go kill yourself.

The Old Guard at the Unknows in Arlington pay the respect of the Nation to the fallen of world war one, world war two, korea and until reciently Viet Nam.

By singling out one of the unidentifed, Known but to God, and placing a guard over his tomb. The Nation holds faith with the fallen and promises that their sacrafice will not be in vain. That there will always be an America and Americans that will hold the trust he passed to them to protect it.

Calling this foolish shows a gross lack of character and a depth of ignorance unfathomable by those who hold the honor of protecting their country dear.

No disrespect intended but is that the common way to march in the US army?
I don't think I have ever seen any honor guard march like that before.

Excuse me but are you here for the photos and vids, or for practising free speech?

There are plenty retarded places for the latter.

Nice vid!

I couldnt do it, and because of that I have nothing but the utmost respect for those guards. When I visited washington 2 years ago I watched that guy do his job, it was real impressive. Back then I didn't personally know anyone burried at arlington, things have changed since then.
