Has anybody an Idea who the hell this Poser is? You can find him on many Pictures.
Looks like he is trying to win the "Mister Insurgency" contest.

Hmm - take a good look on his AK - in the other thread "Saddams golden guns" there were photos of such fancy rifles - I presume they were given to some as a reward from Saddam. Im just guessing but this elder seems to me as an opportunist - this platinium AK or Tabak or whatever it is gives me idea that he wasnt the most oppresed under Hussein rule.
EDIT: there was another photo of him in Today's Pics - showig this man's rifle and it had some metal inlay and dedication letters on foregrip...

Does his right hand look right? I mean like five fingered right?
Where the heck is the AK pistol grip and stock. Is that the pistol grip in his belt,? or is he just happy to see us?

The grip is tucked in his sash, the stock looks to be missing; those shorty homegrown AKs (Tabuks?) aren't likely to be very accurate as it is!

I dont think this guy is fighting in any way, he is just talking to the masses and trying to look important.... ;)

Well if you watch the way they are firing them over there, they were probably just tought to point it away from face and shoot, because they seem to just "spray and pray" :cantbeli:
