The most I found and kept was $20 in a parking lot. I also found a wallet with $310 in it, but I returned the wallet to its owner.

$50 (maybe it was $20). when i went to a very very very elegant resort in the Virgin Islands, there were a bunch of businessmen on business trips. The pool is right next to the bar, so they would carry all kinds of money in their suits, and some of it fell out. So when I walked by at night, i dove into the pool in my full clothes and got some nice free money at the bottom of the 12ft pool. :)

Ten dollars on the ground behind my high school during football season. One of the players must have dropped it. I took it and ran away.

I can't remember all of the times but at least once I remember finding a five mark - coin (when we still had marks) and in the Euro-era I've found a 50-cent (No, not that rap-artist) coin as well.

Why were you in the kids pants in the first place?

I found over $2 million in "lost" inventory about 5 years ago.....

I've had bank tellers overpay me several times($10 or $20 bucks).....but I always gave it back...I wouldn't want anyone getting in trouble over it...especially cute bank tellers who can't count ;)

800 PLN ~205$ but to get the real value of it in Poland multiple it by x4.. it was statutory minimal monthly payment, so around 800-1000$ in US

I was walking past a cash machine when some money just popped out, decided to pick it up, 200 quid in cash.

Walked into the bank, told them their machine was malfunctioning and gave them back the cash :).

Sometimes I kinda wish I kept it....

20 SEK on the street...but once I found 3 wallets laying on the side of the walking-path and turned them over to the police. They where stacked with money, creditds-cards, drivers-licence and so on. They had been thrown away by a robber some hour before, but the police wasn't able to locate them during the search along his escape-pach, after they got him.

It was used as evidence in the trial, and me and my brother got a diploma, key-rings and so forth, and the owners said they where happy.

We didn't have much when we grow up but not little enpugh to ever have to resort to stealing (or...not handing over others property).

If there is something I _really_ despise, it's crimes against other civilians.
