Is Militaryphotos having problems?

Since yesterday, I've tried to look at some of the topics, but when I click on one, it takes a couple of minutes to show the page.

At other times, they come right up.

Just curious if anyone else is having this problem....

I've noticed recently that some topics have more pages than they are supposed to, i.e on the thread list you will see pages 1,2,2,4, but when you click on page 4 it doesnt exist.

Its happening for 4 moth already :), Hood said he thinks that those problems were/are due to database overload, He said he will move our beloved site to less used server but i don't know if he did it. Those problems are probably the reasons we have 15 posts per page not 20. But if you have 166 and more users online you can't do much about it.... groving pains, this page becames trade mark :)

Yes I noticed this too. Beyond that I also noticed sometimes posts take very long time to actually show up, even after reloading the page several times....I noticed this is leading to more double posts lately from people (from myself included......)

Also, for some reason when I post things occasionally it just reads "invalid input" but most times not. Its somewhat annoying to type something out and then have it fail.....oh well.

I also noticed the whole "non existant page" problem too.....

But overall these are just minor annoyances and dont make me angry or anything. Im still very pleased at how the moderators run this site and its design is very easy to navigate. Overall I give m-photos.net top marks.. Thanks guys!!!

forum activity has also increased dramatically in the past few weeks. we just hit 172 members online at the same time and that can put a ton of stress on the server.
