i am like ... itching ... like ... really itching for this thing

this would be my first major airshow if i go. ive been to others ... but nothing like this.

Yeah heard about it last week. Its only a short drive for me, so i cant wait.

I was really hoping they would have one of those new ‘Tiger’ armed reconnaissance helicopters on show. I know there not operational, but i thought maybe they could have shown the one they used for testing in woomera, but obviously not.

Are Australia the only airforce still using the F111? I saw a pic recently of one doing a arrestor hook landing as its undercarriage wasnt working, pretty sparky stuff :)

Yes we are. That was a fantasic landing too.

Btw, nice pics. Going to try and get to Avalon?

I've had everything prepared for Avalon next year but then I found out I had boot camp :(

You mean Basic Training? I dont think RIs will love you calling it Boot Camp.

Remember, when they ask who likes "Vegemite", "Chocolate" or "Motorbikes"....You should tell them "Yes, Corporal"

The show was pretty good....... was going to post pics, but there basically the same as Nuggets. The highlight for me was the Globemaster. Its maneuverability mid flight was awesome.
