Why loaders in Abramses are always black? I not intend to flame, just curious. Whenever I see Abramses in real videos or holliwood movies loaders are always black. I never seen non-black man on that role. Is this is some kind of tradition or maybe murphy law/statistic trick?

PLayer you are talking about is Olisadebe(sp.), he married polish girl, and from what I've seen he was liked player and important one...And I'm sure even those bannanas were trown by someone, they were thrown not because someone thought he is a monkey. After Małysz wins, bannans became symbol of succes here and could be reason fo such actions. Maybe other Poles could say more...

it's funny because Europeans are always bagging on Americans in these forums about being too conservative, backwards, etc. but I find that some Euros are more racially insensitive then we Yanks are - I think because we are actually more exposed to other races than you are since most European countries are still somewhat racially homogeneous - namely white.

and no, there is no racial determination for tank crewman positions...none for any MOS...

Well , there is a lot of smoke , and soot going on inside the tank , during fire drills . After that , on maintanace loaders deal with a lot of black stuff . Many loaders (and other crue members ) coming out from it in dark color . Perhaps that was the source of that clame ? :lol:

Right, does it occur to you that for 50 years there were two Europes, East and West, and in Eastern Europe there were very few black in eastern europe, hence more racism there at this late stage. The idea that most european countries are on the whole white is blatantly wrong, I can't believe we get the likes of sixgun on one side saying that within a few years europes going to be muslim and one the other side you saying Europe is not culturally diverse.

Most of western European countries have had lots of cultural diversity when they had colonies, many others to help rebuild after WW2.

Americans assume that europe is prodominently white and that america isn't, when in truth america is a predominent 77.1% white. (CIA factbook)

As for the "darkies" comment, it's a matter of culture, in the US, the media openly referers to black or othe dark skinned ethnic groups as "people of color", now because you are american to you this may seem totally acceptable, because of social conditioning but foreigners will associate "people of color" with the days when black people were called "colored", when racism was rife, so a finn calling "darkies" is nothing to get worked up about, it may even be a direct translation from finnish, but the fact that he said it doesn't make him racist.

Yes I know that western europe is pretty diverse..of course you still face the same problems with racism that we do..it's just human nature I think. And pointing out that much of your diversity is due to your former colonization/oppression of other countries is interesting too...
