Whoever perfects lovebots will make Bill Gates look like a pauper.

But as far as data-linked or autonomous combat robots goes....I'd bet every cent it ain't gonna happen for a VERY long time...and even when it does I doubt a computer could accurately handle extremely ambiguous situations(which is the norm, rather than the exception anymore).

Even if it takes 50 years for these things to be deployed...I reckon an effective countermeasure will be developed 5 days after
