View Full Version : Where is the thin line between Super HOOAH!!and F--kinStupid!

I have not been in the INFANTRY a long time about going in 5 years, so that is about 5 days.

But It never seces to amaze me when people do stupid things. Every year some one will top it too. For example I watched one guy remove the but stock of a SAW while it was coked. and watched the rod shoot out of the ass end and smash into his face.lucky he was wearing eye pro.

Another thing I have seen is a platoon Sergent yell at a Joe because he was going to transport the commander. He told to show him his HUMMV licence and dropped him for a minute. Then watched the platoon Sergent get in the HUMMV and instantly backs up into a frickin telephone pole!! ARE YOU SERRIOUS!!

But one of the things that bothers me the most is watching some soldiers that want to be so High speed that they do some Super HOOAH S--t like not wear snivel on a really cold day, then they tell you that you are such a puss for wearing snivel. And then there Super HOOAH!! Ass ends up riding in the hell hole of the Blackhawk for like an hour and they freeze their ass off.

Stuff like this sends abrupt laughter out of my frikin mouth!! Because I'm the guy that will laugh at anything even the un funniest sh-t. Like one time I was gonna dispatch an LMTV and watched one of the Mechanics tell a buddy to hold some huge metal part of a LMTV and then the guy gets yelled at by the Chief Warrant over what ever.

So he lets go of the metal piece and in sequence wrench, bolt ,and big metal part bounce of this other guy's noggin!! He was jacked up but I acted serious then I laughed. really really loud!!.

Or how about the Super HOOAH guys that take like 100 lbs in there Rucks on a march and end up being picked up bu the fall out truck going on mile 2 or 3. Super HOOAH!!


and you know that when some super Hooah individual is gonna try something stupid it stars with "hey watch this"
SO here is the deal . What is the stupidest super HOOAH thing you have seen.

With all these dumb people around you, it can only make you look better, I'd enjoy having a laugh at there expense and hope they dont make it as far as being deployed with you :)

Makes me think of guys who stand around hifi-ing eachother and talking about how awesome they are, then get tired after 3km of running.

Generally, just a look into natural selection, as opposed to being hard, however we all have those stories. Guy half pissed, decides to demo a PLF off the roof of the section house. Para qualified, not. Just showing off.

However, stupidity does rule in most of the cases.

Seen this done myself. Somewhat dim young lad attached from an unnamed reserve unit. Tore his lip open. Liked the results so much he tried to do it again while sitting beside me on the ground. I slapped the top of the C-9 down when I noticed why he was having such difficulty removing the driving spring and rod. Jammed his thumb , then looked at me like "WTF?". I casually explained why.

Same numpty, less than 2 days later, unloading defensive stores on top of a hill in Fort Ord. Troops on truck toss down roll of constantina wire, wire bounces, jumps up and proceeds to start rolling down hill. Our intrepid hero sees the roll.....well....rolling, and decides to stop it. No gloves of any kind, reaches out to grab it. We were a man short for the rest of the ex.

lol that was a good game this morning. Broncos are gonna beat up on the Ravens tommorow night. then next weekend ive got drill so no football : (

Myself and my hoochmate deciding not to build a hooch with a 30 or something percent chance of thunderstorms. We were pretty soggy the next morning.

Always sleep in the bivy sack, dude. No matter what. :)

And use your poncho to cover your ruck and boots up. I do it even on the clearest of nights. You never know.
