So in the future just like the Daleks we will be defeated by cunning enemies who hide upstairs :)
Pointless a 2 foot wall will be a unpassable barrier. It looks cute though.

Stick with the British bipedal design.

Let's say that the British Army will be invincible as long as the other side doesn't hire Dr Who as its special military advisor.

just like anything else thats the final design, off course people will be replaced.
the ultimate geek revenge , IT/Engineers, other geeky guys will run wars, imagine having all the sensors currently in tanks and airplanes on bi pads
people as tools of war will be obsolete, may the best geek win, maybe if we are lucky they wont be able to completely isolate them from emps thats the only hope

Hey don't blame the Daleks. For 1970's sc-fi Dr-Who beats them all hands down.

Unfortunately, all the sensors and stuff on aircraft and in ships only work in "un-cluttered" environments, like the air and the sea... ain't gonna happen for land warfare... the problems with Unmanned Ground Vehicles are an order of magnitude different than for air and sea. Notice in the last picture that there is not one object in the room. All that robot can do is walk on a flat surface and shoot its arm out when it "sees" another object in its view... good for demos... no good for anything else. It'll be a long, long, long long time before we see extensive use of unmanned ground robots in emergency or combat operations.
