Not sure if you mean't the music at the beginning or the classical music in the second half which is the Radetsky March by Johan Strauss.

This starts happening in any war zone when fighter pilots run out of targets.

P-51 pilots at the close of WWII were flying under the Eifel Tower, buzzing French girls, buzzing the G.I.s on the ground, chasing German School kids on their bicycles, buzzing German Civilians trying to cross the rhine river just to watch them jump in the river in fear. this was starting to cause casualities due to "Pilot Error" and pissing 0ff the French so the practice was outlawed and punished if the perpetrators could be found.

the thing is, the general public dont understand that soldiers want a little fun aswell, no harm came from those guys playing chicken with the harrier, and the only danger would come from pilot error, yet again its the public overreacting and making out that soldiers need to be proffessional all the time, everywhere at every hour of the day, which will happen.... WHEN THEY ARE WORKING.

There is no reason to play with guns, a plane flying so low is dangerous anywhere. Its a very basic military(and civilian) rule, not to play with guns. If they want to play those kind of games, theres plenty of civilian ones which don't invlove high speed fighter jets.

How about hearing damage for a start?

... and the only danger would come from pilot error,
Yes... and flying hi-speed low-level greatly reduces this margin of error. See the problem?

...yet again its the public overreacting and making out that soldiers need to be proffessional all the time, everywhere at every hour of the day,
Overreacting? Personally, I would expect that expensive planes bought from taxes, flewn by pilots trained with taxes, equipped with weapons bought from taxes would not waste fuel bought with taxes to create funny videos for their leisure. Thats exactly the same kind of tax waste one would criticise with a community that buys unnecessary bridges and such.

Nothing wrong with soldiers letting off some steam.... but should that involve putting their lives AND so much money´s worth of equipment into danger? The "public" is very well in the position to argue about such practises.

Civilians and military don't mix, get it? Am always surprised when these kind of things got blown out of proportion in the press.

If the boys want to have some fun, let them have some fun. There are a lot worse things they could be doing because they're bored...

...as for the ultra low altitude flybys, it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.. :)
