In general the people who have served/serve don't like posing in uniforms and talking about how awesome it is to be a soldier. He reminds me a bit of the posers on myspace. Not that I'm saying he is, but..

I liked how 4 out of 6 of his voting options involved military action, which right now is the remotest of possibilities considering how many pieces of artillery are aimed at Soeul. Not even Bush is rallying the troops for an invasion.

As I retired infantryman, I'd just like to point out in our defense that Alvarezinfantry is the guy in the squad who we'd duct tape and hog tie to the front of the M113 when we were out on maneuvers. He's not representative of the rest of us.

I bet he dresses up as a soldier with all of his personally bought duplicate TA50 on Halloween. It gives him another excuse to camo up.

We call them Rifleman No 7. He's the guy you order to standup and push forward when you've exausted every means of locating the enemy...
