Looking for pics of rangers in Grenada. I did see some in various threads just wondering if anyone knew of more.

Thanks in advance.

If there are any Ranger's who visit this board who were in a ranger regiment back then email me please.

I'm looking for an old friend who was with the rangers and moved on to the 1/10th SFG(A). Name was Roy Fraijo. Roy was with the ranger rgmt in Grenada.

Bad Tolz,
I would suggest going to SOCNET and hitting the Rangers section. There are quite a few Grenada Raiders over there. I know many of them but your friends name doesn't ring a bell. I have the manifests from both Bn's for that op and I don't recall the name. I'll recheck later on when I get home.

PS There are very few pics of Rangers in Grenada (mostly DoD) because the Rangers were told not to bring cameras on the mission. Some did but the pics are not in the public domain. And yes, Rangers wore OD jungle fatigues in Grenada.

I have some pictures that were taken by a student getting rescued. I'll post them soon. I posted them here about a year ago also, but I couldn't find the thread.

Not that I'm aware of. There is a picture of the SEAL team assigned to the MAU in the book SEAL! by Michael Walsh but it was taken before the op went.
