As I said in the Intermediate Pistol Course thread (link: http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=93803&highlight=Intermediate+Pistol ) here are the pictures of the second part. Two days of rifle shooting and CQB. It was a civil course, but you needed military / professional qualifications to participate. So there were mostly swiss/french/english (and even one irish) military, police or security guys.
We did learn a lot and had two great days. I'm looking forward for the advanced Taylor courses next year.
For more infos on Taylor check: www.chucktaylorasaa.com
Cheers and enjoy a few of the pics (just a short review)

Good post! Can see one guy wearing the Eagle CIRAS. Is it popular in the "professional" field??

I (guy with the green Blackhawk Cap) am wearing a Blackhawk STRIKE chestrig (Husky style). But the EAGLE is pretty popular, a lot of guys wearing them around here.

Do you have any idea how popular this academy in Europe is? (because I don' t do) Or did you meet some guys that got the course paid by their employers (military, police )?

I'm guessing the SIG rifles were supplied by the people who ran the course?

I don't think so.
As a result of the swiss militia system a lot of people there have Sig 550 (called Sturmgewehr 90 in the swiss military) at home

sadly now theres a petition against the private use of the stg 90 at home so we won´t see this again probably
i hope it doesn´t happen

I did know about the Swiss military system and thus the general arming of the population but was more enquiring how people from foreign countries taking part in the course could be equipped with them legally?

The swiss citizen had their own rifles, guys from foreign countries either brought their rifles (special permission for courses) or they took weapons provided by the company doing the course. That's no problem and worked fine.

Hehe, good one :-)
The guy was from Belgiuma nd forgot in the enscription to mention that he will need a pistol for the course. But we just did transitions that day (about 30min) so it wasn't that bad. At least it was the RIFLE course.
