What country are they from?

I would say the top one was special boat service. There next to a submarine and the back ground looks like scotland where the sbs train using subs.

I'm gonna guess here, but the camoflauge on the sniper and the guy clearing the stairway looks Scandanavian.

Just a guess.

The ships on the last picture were recently repainted to join a NATO force in the Mediterranean Sea. Usually they're painted in woodland or grey colors.

Is the guy climbing on the ship side carrying a UMP 45? Looks like it's either that or an regular MP5. Any

PaulII: Are the pic from the shooting range SFs or the SVI testing of C8? Heard that if Norway will order Diemacos for the conscripts, they will have pistolgrip and handguard colored green.

WOW you guys and your dam damaicos! Why is it so important for you to know if there getting demaico's? What about asking how much ass can that sub kick? Now thats a question!http://www.army-technology.com/contractor_images/aimpoint/aimpoint5.jpg

I asked because I'm interested. I'll be joining the army next year, kicking ass will be done with a rifle, not a sub. Therefore I'm wondering if I'll get a Diemaco, G36 or just the old G3A3.
But since I guess it would amuse you: How much ass can that sub kick?

Dude, we just said it was an MP5. Gawd...

And stuntman, it's spelled "Diemaco, not "damaicos" or "demaico's".

Theese pictures is of SF on a shooting range in some undisclosed loaction. ;) As to the selection of a new assult rifle's I don't think the selection is maid yet as to wich weapon will replace the G3. On the mather of the pistol grip and handguard painting it's was delivered with the green eith the G3 insted of it's original balck. So therefore I GUESS the same will be done with the next weapon choosen as the new service rifle.

Rumors say that the G36 is very likely to replace the G3. But still who knows, the replacement of the G3 is still in somewhat early stages. Noticeably a few G36C is already in use by Kystjaegerne (SF Marines).

They canceled the damn thing again. The G3 won't be replaced yet.
Government can't seem to find the money. :bash:

Good! From what I hear, the 65gr. 5.56mm round adopted by NATO and the U.S. sucks in the way of stopping power. I think the U.S. should go back to the 55gr. 5.56mm or even the 7.62x51. So...consider yourself lucky.
