Talls Stacks 06--LST tour

Here's pics I took of the LST that dock in Cincinnati for Tall Stacks 06. It's a fully functional LST that participated in the D Day landings. After the war, it was later bought by the Greek navy and sailed until decommissioned. That's when the group that now owns it, found it and sailed it back to the U.S. It's operated by former sailors who served on LST's, including two WWII vets. It's home port now is in Evansville, Indiana, where it serves as a floating museum. If you get the chance to go down there, you should go see it.
