This morning (October 16th) the special operation task force of the national commissioner of the Icelandic police trained with the Icelandic coastguard EOD team and the helicopter team from the USS Wasp. The USS Wasp docked last Friday and has a Sikorsky Super-Stallion onboard.

The scenario was that three men were thought to be making bombs for use in terrorist acts. The viking squad secured the building and EOD guys (the guys with the big backpacks) cleared it.
