Couple Questions.. ATN 5x33L IR

Im planning on getting the ATN 5x33L IR from cheaper than dirt for $180.
seems like a solid scope for the price. any one have experiance with this scope?

Also rings.. 30mm rings..what hight would I need for the 33mm lens to clear the Weaver Rail on my AR?

Haven't used a 5 x 33 but I've got an one of the ATN 2-6 x 40 (next model up) on my .45-70. Heavy brute of a scope and took a little to get used to with the moving reticule (not moving image) but its a solid dependable scope, hasn't moved an iota even using 405gn projectiles. Should have rings with it that are Weaver/Picatinny compatible.
Good scope, I'm looking at getting one of their 4-12's for my .308.
