Hi fellas!

Winter is approaching and I'm up for some ECWCS sexyness! I've been looking for a set S/R for some time now, mainly Ebay. But the only things I find is $30 parkas, and that couldn't be much quality. So where do I get good quality Woodland Goretex? And does anyone know who' producing the ECWCS for the army?

read through them.... don't just rock up and get spoon fed. Google is useful too. heaps of ECWCS around.

Yeah. I found those. But they didn't state who's producing the ECWCS, or where I could get it.

Just search "gortex jacket" and "gortex pants" on ebay.

I got the ECWS jacket for 25 from some guy getting out of the Navy.

I dunno about buying something NEW for 30 bucks, but the surplus stuff goes for pretty cheap. In a Navy town, atleast.

Most of the 2nd Generation issue I have seen is made by Adventure Tech.

Ist Gen I have seen includes Federal Prison Indust, Tennier, Tennesse Apparrel, and probally several more.

In the past year and half Ebay seemed to be swamped with woodland, new and used. I was buying the 3 color desert but the woodland was cheaper. I would say you can get a set of new for about $120 or less delivered.

Gen 2 is much more refined but harder to find.

The best is the USMC issue APECS parka which would be like a gen 3 and it comes in the superior woodland Marpat. $185 top and $95 bottoms at your local Marine base. Too bad you don't want a L/R set of that, I have a new pair with tags ready to go.
