Maybe its a shared loadout for everyone and the mags and 203 ammo will be used by anyone in the unit who needs them. You can never have enough 203 rounds and the grenadiers rely on others to haul them.

Security forces spotted three militants while combing the woods in the Novolakskoye district and killed two gunmen in an armed clash. The third militant escaped and he is currently searched for, the ITAR-Tass news agency reported Wednesday. Like the other impoverished and mainly Muslim areas in the North Caucasus, Dagestan has suffered from a spillover of violence from the decade-old separatist conflict in neighboring Chechnya. A North Korean patrol boat is seen near the developed waterfront of the Chinese border city of Dandong in northeast China, Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006. China is balking at stopping and searching North Korean ships for banned weapons and materials, creating tension with Washington over U.N. Security Council sanctions for the North's nuclear test. Beijing fears that such searches might trigger military clashes, and that the U.S. may use them to more widely police shipping, analysts said Tuesday. (AP Photo/Ng Han Guan)

Image from video provided by Italian SKYTG24 network showing Italian photographer Gabriele Torsello during an interview on May 10, 2006 in his home in Alessano, near Lecce, southern Italy. The Italian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday Oct. 18, 2006 it was looking into a reported demand by the kidnappers of Torsello in Afghanistan that Italy hand over an Afghan convert to Christianity Abdul Rahman in exchange for the hostage's release. The Foreign Ministry said it was doing everything possible to verify the demand, which was reported by an Italian aid group, Emergency. Gabriele Torsello and his Afghan translator were kidnapped Saturday as they drove from Lashkar Gah, the capital of the southern Helmand province, toward neighboring Kandahar. Is the woman crying? It looks like she is but she might not be...:| Either way, the uniforms look way too big on the soldiers. Just like in the concentration camps :|

They might have an "one size fits all" policy.
Would be cheaper that way and more egalitarian. To bad it doesn't apply to the leader as well.

Nope when I was in S.Korea the men did the same.

Correct, and like I said it's a sign of frienship, nothing else.
