Could someone read the captions and tell us what it says?
I have never seen such lush scenery as this in any NK pix. I also think I spy a motorcycle on the edge of this photo to the left. Could this be China rather than NK?

It might be China - they DO have a Chinese version of NTC, complete with an OPFOR brigade to simulate US forces.

I am not sure about that, the SEA camouflage was introduced after the Korean War... Also, for NKoreans, the captured Sabre would be rather too precious to waste it as target on live fire range. Secondly, would they capture any intact Sabre during the war, it would 100% end up in Soviet Union. Are there any accounts of captured Sabre during the Korean War at all? Personally I do not think so.
My bet is the pics are from South Korea, although I could be wrong of course.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the pics...... and in fact the texts are in Chinese so the one that uploaded the pics probably has obtained the pics elsewhere.....

Captured F-86 aircraft were taken to at least three Moscow aircraft design bureaus for exploitaiton. Pilots accompanied the aircraft to enrich and accelerate the exploitation process.

Come to think of it there probably isn't any lush scenery in NK. The population probably ate it for dinner.

I'd that these are probably not representative of US forces- note the North Korean roundel painted on the tail. None of the "targets" look very shot-up, either.
But I'm not sure as to whether these are authentic pics from NK or not, like Bunnysuit said, it could just as easily be China. I have my doubts as to the North Koreans allowing such detailed photos of one of their top training facilities.p-)
They're from a Chinese website, so if I had to venture a guess I say it's someone's backyard museum/display?

OK, according to this source there were 2-3 examples of F-86 delivered to Soviet research institute for examination of the design. All were recovered remains of crashed planes, or they are mentioning one which was forced to land on beach - hence the remark about "sand filled fuselage"

Back to the picture, I dug into my literature here and have found few pics of ROK AF F-86's in camouflage similar to SEA. [Sqaudron Signal "In Action"]. I really believe the pics are from training area in South Korea.

Or that. It's entirely likely they're from somewhere in the ROK.
